I've heard it said in alot of different rap songs for years for example:

"I love to bust shots...but you don't hear me though."

AND:

"I even took a picture killin' myself...but you don't hear me though."

So what does it translate into?

It means, like, you don't care about me. You're not feeling what I'm going through, that kind of thing.

I could be wrong, but I think it's his (or her) way of saying, "I just said something really deep and thought provoking, but you're not listening critically enough to understand". Rappers tend to use a lot of metaphors and sometimes those metaphors get lost in the beat and all the other shallow rhetoric.
