It means you are special... a planne jane is justs a normal/bboring girl...so it is a good thing that you are not a plain jane

Plain Jane is the girl who stands against the wall and disappears into it. Nothing about her stands out. So if you tell someone you are not a plain Jane you're letting them know that you feel unique, special and happy with yourself. And I say you go girl!
