Rapid weight loss, lethargic, not eating/drinking
If you have even an inkling that your animal might have been poisoned by the recalled food, go to the vet straight away and bring a sample of the food!

There are many resources available that are free. But basically drinking excessive water, and then kidney failure.
My source listed below has done extensive study in this area and was on to this problem long ago. The key is not to wait for symptoms but focus on prevention. It is shocking to find out what is in commercial dog food. Your choice and selection does make a difference.

Vomiting and lots of drinking water. Take the pet to the vet right away. I just heard that the recalled brands were poisoned with rat poison! Shameful!

The effected food causes kidney failure. The clinical signs of kidney failure are excessive drinking, anorexia, lethargy. These are likely to be the first signs you see.
There are some good websites to get info about renal failure and the recalled food.

Your vet can run blood work to test kidney function.

From what I've heard the poison affects the kidneys and they drink a lot of water. Check with your vet if you're concerned about your pet.
