I love flirting with my guy friends it's lots of fun but as soon as we reach a point where they think i like them i freak and create this distance between us because i usually do like them lol why is this?

Flirting is fun and harmless but I believe your are afraid of intimacy . You run away when it begins to gets close to being a relationship ."Intimacy can be threatening, even frightening. This is because it involves taking the risk of really trusting someone" ... If you love someone, they might reject you. If you confide in them, they might betray you. If you are vulnerable to them, they might control or exploit you. Instead of risking being hurt, it is easier to play safe and run away from being close — becoming an intimacy avoider." If you can try to talk with a professional to get to the root as this can become a real problem through out life ... small steps ..good luck
