Put yourself in this position and tell me what you're thinking ... please. You and your girlfriend broke up a month ago. You've been on one lunch date and one dinner date with different girls. You didn't even kiss them. You start texting your exgirlfriend several nights and you both have a great time talking. Then you invite her over. She comes over and you both already know that you plan on being intimate. It was discussed prior. So after she is at your home for about an hour you start kissing and hugging. Then you whisper very, very lightly. So lightly that she's not certain that you actually said it. But you whisper, "I love you". My question is... are you really still in love with her or were you just trying to make the moment more exciting and memorable?

would it help to know that when I left... I was walking to my car. I was in a great mood (of course) :) but I felt funny because I use to always kiss and hug him good bye. And I wasn't sure if I should. He came to me and hugged and kissed me. And he's sent me a few texts since then explaining his day to me. Just like he use to. He acting as if we are back together but we didn't discuss that. What do you think is going on in his mind?

whispering "i love you" is alot easier and alot less meaningfull then when spoken straight up, truth is - he's not even considering whether or not he does, its just something to say to soften up the situation and can make the sex better with you being more aggressive because you read it as love and you get all excited, he knows this well and knows how to play it... and those lunch and dinner dates, yeah, that means - "I had sex with another girl but it was just because she was easy and the first one to come along, but she's not pretty enough for me to go on record with, so thats why I'm back here with you"...didn't even kiss them...is that what he said? - thats classic...10 bucks says he's giving you the ol "lets be special friends with benefits" speech and "just isn't ready to get back into things..."

It depend on the type of guy he is. If I was in his position i would have really meant that i love you. However you get some guys who Just take you, use you and spit you back out. but he sounds like a good guy and you sound like a nice girl so he probrably is still very much in love with you.

you do not love untill you truly know that person and this process takes time,,you can be natural soul-mates but you will know it,,being soul-mates,,nothing can seperate the two of you in public or private,,,second and third partie's usually haven't had time to heal,,they just jump right in to the next girl and become intimate with them and telling them what they want to hear,,,and remember this,, what you dont know about the others will not hurt you, but are they truth or lies?

could be one of three things.
1) he was not sure you were going to give it up
2) He really misses you and seeing really just put it over the top and he wants to be with you and love you
3) Or he could have said i don;t love you and he was talking to him self
I would hope for #2 for your sake becuase that is the answer you are seeking from this Yahoo question thing

from that situation, i'd say that the guy was just trying to get things rolling and didn't really mean it. he'll say anything to get what he wants and doesn't care if the other person thinks he means it or not. he has one goal in mind.
