Well you have to tell her no if you are not interested. There's no point in letting her think you are interested if you are not. It will hurt her more in the long run.

Dude! I've been there. Bad scene. If you already don't like her, do not go on that date. By accepting a date, you are implying that you are interested in her. Obviously you aren't.
How to get out of it? I don't know. Maybe someone else has good advice for that. Me, I'd tell her I'm busy dissecting the neighbor’s dog... Just kidding...
No, if you have to, tell her no, that you would only end up hurting her. It's the truth. She may not like it but that's better than going out with her, building her up only to tear her down.

tell her this "well i think it would be fun to go out as friends but I'm not really looking for a girlfriend or to date anyone right now and i think of you as a really good friend"
if you tell her that exactly (if she isn't crazy) she will back off and get the hint i know it sucks to have to tell someone you dont like them i have to do it a ton and after a while it doesnt feel weird it feels normal like just another person
but as long as you are nice to them its all good

Are you too nice to crush her when she finds out you never liked her in the first place?
Just tell her you like her as a friend and you are not interested in anything more than that, Quick and Easy. Don't lead her on, that's just cruel

Say No. Don't worry about being nice, if you are not interested in dating her than be honest with her. If you do date her and you don't like her it'll only be worse for the both of you. Stop being a puss.

I know where you are coming from but if you were as nice as you feel you are then you'd tell her gently that you don't want to date her. That's much nicer than going through with it and making her miserable or standing her up. Do the right thing. I know you have it in you. :)

Be truthful. Tell her she's really pretty, but you don't like her that way. Ask her if you can still be friends. You need to cushion her fall. =) Might want to pocket a Kleenex or two before you tell her.

It is very rude to lead someone on. she's getting the impression that something could happened between you all. Just tell her the truth, women are very sensitive trust me I know, Tell her you don't like her.Before you she falls in love with you.

Let's switch roles for a minute! How would you feel if you asked her out and she wasn't into you? How would you like her to react to the situation? Remember! Treat others as you would like to be treated.
