Christian are suppose to love others, whether it be family, friends, neighbors, strangers, enemies, and even the worst of people, as we love our selves. Because of that we try to help out, and even try to help people realize that Jesus Christ is Lord. I am responsible only if I do not tell others of Jesus, but if I tell and the other person refuses Jesus then it falls on the head of that person who has to make the decision. We Christians don't like suffering and pain just as much as the next guy. So it kind of triggers us to want to help out a lot.

Any one who thinks that they have the "answer" can be patronising if it is in their nature to be so. There are very few people who believe that they have the "answer" to life and are humble about it. It simply is human nature for most to be arrogant or patronizing. Sad isn't it....

Actually, I'm a Christian, and I have to admit that a lot of us are patronizing. It shouldn't be that way, but it just happens to be the truth. Too bad, it makes a bad impression. Hopefully, I'm getting mature enough not to be that way.

First off: what a patronizing question! (I'm kidding of course)
Secondly: Like everyone's saying, people of all walks of life, all religions, all races, all whatevers, are patronizing for the same reason(s).
It's got nothing to do with the fact that they're Christian...and everything to do with the fact that they're not perfect.

I think the reason for patronizing is that many people including many, Christians, Atheists, Muslims, etc. are defining their self-worth through the act of trying to make others feel beneath them so they can feel like they mean something.

It is an endless game of failure to try to have establish your self respect by destroying others. There is always someone better than you.

I agree that each physique might desire to stay in peace and that the international might desire to be without hatred. I do sense although, as an atheist, that our comments are downsized via religious ones (you could say something approximately an atheist yet criticise faith, your relatively in for it). sometimes i think like religious human beings have faith that atheists don't have a ethical code and that i could be very scary. there is likewise a large double wide-unfold. human beings get to interrupt regulations and, some circumstances in united states of america, the regulation by way of faith. human beings are bending over backwards because of the fact they are scared to criticise faith because of the fact then they are seen as undesirable human beings. loose speech is ineffective till each physique is in a position to particular it Peace x

All religions are patronizing because they all think they are right. I am christion but I am not patronizing and hate it when other Christians tell me how I should be, what to believe, and so on. I think they should just worry about themselves.
