I always freeze up when I am on the phone with them or when I am having a conversation.

Don't think about yourself and your shyness! Just go over and talk to someone who seems to be in the same boat as you and try to make them comfortable. Concentrate on the other person and you'll find your shyness disappearing as you do! I learned this when I was trying to help one of my children get over their shyness, which seemed to run in the family, and now I find it so easy that people don't believe I was ever shy.

I struggle with this as well. But I have gotten a lot better. What I do is remember that the guy that is making me so nervous is just another person and could be in fact just as nervous as I am. I remember that if they are on a date, on the phone with me or whatever, then they must find me attractive and interesting. This gives me confidence. Don't try to be anyone but yourself because pretending always backfires. Let your guard down and think of them as another friend whom you are comfortable with. Don't be concerned about trying to be sexy, or extremely witty because that can make you seem fake or like you are trying too hard. Be natural and steer the conversation to where you feel comfortable. The more comfortable you are, the less shy and nervous you will be. Also, this is something that I had to learn myself quite recently: Don't put the guy on a pedestal as if he is so much better, more attractive or interesting than you are. It sounds obvious but remembering that can help immensely. Hope this was helpful!!!

I need to know How old are you. If you are under 17 ask your
parents. If you are between 18 and 21 ask your brothers and
sisters. If you are over 22: You need to have more male friends to understand the way they are. If you dont have too
many men friends, probably is gonna be very difficult to in-
teract with them.
