I thought it was like the Al Gore version of the way planet earth should be after he obliterates everyone with the Zero Population Growth machine, but it is a little too realistic and nice for Gore.

FYI, Planet of the Apes is still the very best proof for evolution.

Few people seem to know this but "The Flinstones" is literally a documentary based on primary sources. Cavemen of Fred and Barney's day did not have any long-lasting visual medium upon which to record their activities. Thus, for historical purposes they resorted to documenting their lives in cave drawings of the kind found in the Lascaux caves in France. Scholars found it best to present this important historical material in its original, animated form. Hanna-Barbera artists spent years in these caves copying Fred and Barney's original drawings. Historians have subsequently cast some suspicion upon Fred's supposed bowling skills (likely an exaggeration), but for anthropologists and archaeologists the value of this documentary series is incalculable.
