Well it depends on your taste.
Some people think little dogs are cute and some people hate them and think they yap too much.
Some people think St. Bernards are the cutest, I think they drool too much.
Some people think flat faced dogs are just the most adorable creatures in the world, where me, I'm not into the flat faced look.
And the comparisons go on.

Well, I think what is most important besides cuteness are your expectations and the type of dog that suits your lifestyle. For instance, if you're not a very active person, you don't want to get a CUTE pup that requires ALOT of exercise OR if you ARE active, you don't want to get a pup that is NOT naturally very active. I would find a puppy that you are interested in and do the research. I have 2 French Bulldogs which don't require a lot of exercise and naturally are NOT HIGHLY active dogs. So a brisk walk or a half hour romp in the yard is good for them. But there are also some drawbacks. They have some health problems and are NOT easy to train. They don't so well in HOT or COLD weather and are strictly indoor dogs. These are some things to consider besides how cute a puppy is. They are all cute in my book ; ). Good luck! It totally depends on who you are. For instance, I love rottweilers, but my best friend loves Pomeranians and I think they are kinda...not cute. Just Google dog breeds and you can pick which one you think is the cutest.
You might also want to save a life and go to an animal shelter. They are usually cheaper than buying from a breeder unless you have to pay for their shots. When you go, you can pick out a dog based on how it acts and looks instead of it's breed.

it really depends on your tastes. I personally think pitbull doberman mixs are super cute. But sometimes by "cute" people mean small dogs (which i dont personally like, but i DO think pomeranians are pretty cute)
i also think these are adorable but a lot of people don't: French Bulldogs and Boston Terriers.

To me the cutiest breed of dog is the Maltese. They are white, can have long or short hair, do not have doggy smell and they are extremely adaptable to the family routines. I have had Legacy for 14 years now and he is just cuddly and loves being with people.

I'm sorry but I think all breeds of dogs are cute, in their own way. I would find one that suits you best.
