It is on a forklift at a factory I deliver to weekly. The Mexicans working there won't tell me or the driver of the forklift what it means. Probably a joke or curse.

El chido... making reference to a person it means "the good one" I'm mexican and we use that phrase for example "Ahi viene el chido, or Ahi viene el bueno" = Here comes the good one is just that chido is like a not formal word...

Chido = Cool or nice.

MX is use a lot into the coloquial lenguage.

but, your questions is: El Chido, can be refering to a male who is really cool, let say: The Cool guy.

La Chida = Female (same meaning as El Chido)

in Mexico something chido is something cool...el chido might mean "the cool guy" or something like that
