can you go in the swimming pool at the local baths if you have had your navel pierced for 3 weeks including clorein

NO! Most definitely not. In public swimming places there are huge numbers of bacteria in the water and these can cause some nasty infections. Piercing are especially susceptible to these nasty little buggers unfortunately so when your piercing person advised you not to use public swimming places for 8 -12 weeks they meant it!!! Your own backyard swimming pool is fairly safe however beach is not recommended as it will encourage tissue to heal over the piercing (could be quite yucky)! So yeah - avoid it if you can because the infections you can catch can be serious enough to enter the bloodstream and give you septicemia (blood poisoning). So think bout it k??? :-)

no.......you arent suppose to swim for 4-6 weeks.

I would probably wait one more week to be sure that it has healed.
