Wow...I didn't realize his movies had such an impact on people (after reading the answers you have received so far.) Mel Gibson doesn't bother me half as much as his father who actually published writings claiming that the holocaust never took place....

Mel Gibson is a Catholic with a drinking problem. So far he hasn't been brought up on molestation charges. Sin is the curse of a Christian. He is forgiven, he is destroying himself, be a good brother and pray for him.

He did wrong, but at least he begged for forgivness unlike the kramer guy who said sorry one time.... Mel Gibson cleaned up his act and still continues to appoligize..

Mel is a man . . . he is not a perfect human.
I have been sober since 1984, by the grace of God. I know the kind of mistakes that the drunk makes. They (I did) make grave mistakes like driving while drunk.
None of it is cool . . .
Pride is also not cool . . . and just as bad
