To me, there is one place that I go to that leaves me breathless each time I go. Why? Because the staff are top-notch and they always put there best foot forward to please you. It is open seven days a week for lunch, brunch, and of course dinner. Private parties can be also arranged here. If you like great cuisine, a beautiful dinning experience, and great libations, wines, etc., then this is the place to go.
Nathans Restaurant/Superb Dining at it's very best.

I'm a big fan of Filomena's restaurant, not too far from the corner of M and Wisconsin. They serve excellent italian food, and they have a really great brunch buffet for $10 or $12.

La Chaumerie (or something like that).
But if you're going to DC, try Tony Cheng's Mongolian Barbeque (YUM!!!) or The Old Ebbott Grill (and get a sundae).

Martin's is a classic. I know the owner, and he's kinda odd, but nice. Other recamenations are Clydes, Johnny Rockets, and Nathan's, (I know the owner to that place, too!)

Martin's Tavern. It's an old one, but still it's home.
