I think it was an accident, albeit a stupid one. Any kind of big warehouse/factory is probably going to have mice/rats. Rat poison is probably how they dealt with it. And somehow, due to someone's negligence, it ended up in the food. I feel so sorry for the animals that had to suffer because of that negligence.
But I am happy that my animals are not fed with any of that food.

It's coming out that it was rat poison that had been added to the food. The exact point of addition has not been announced since the police will now be searching for culprits. It's a shame but there are too many stupid people alive in the world to be surprised.

I think that is lack of standards, control and probably benefits or pay for the employee , who just doesn't care enough to not be careless and now animals have suffered and died ; whether it is our food or theirs; it is ultimately the buck that drives all; lawsuits and making sure that someone pays may deter this fiasco in the future, at least I hope that will

It is actually a Taliban conspiracy to kill our beloved president, George Bush, because of all of the time he has spent in the dog house eating dog food. Seriously, it has been determend that the problem arises from tainted wheat that was imported. So, lo and behold, our bread supply, cereals or anything else that has wheat in it may be contaminated. The whole thing doesnt make sense because we are paying farmers to destroy part of their wheat crops in this country.

If they were using the poison for the rats in there factory and it got mixed in on accident I could possibly see that. However,I think it might have been intentional. Our dog got hit by it and is recovering. We don't have the money for the vet right now so we just have to go with everything we have known living in the country my whole life you learn to make due.

It is interesting. My grandpa has a dog that was eating that food. But if it was rat poison, then the dog should be fine. That particular dog has been eating rat poison for years. Seriously--the dog hunts it down and eats it. I don't know why she doesn't have any problems with it.

The idiot who has put this rat poisoning in dog and cat foods will pay the price for what he or she has done because I'm really mad to say that the person is cruel.

I havn't heard much about it but i am glad my cat doesn't eat that food. I dont like the idea of dumb people adding rat poison to the food. I mean who would, it's strong enough for rats wouldn't it afect cats and dogs.
