I don't really look like mine. The basics are all correct -- brown hair, brown eyes, skin color. But it doesn't really look like me.

Not at all.
Yahoo does not have any old guy avatars with greying hair and a full beard. About the only thing you can say is the glasses are the right shape but mine are not so heavily tinted.
I did experiment with skin color. I've gone from as dark as Yahoo permits to my own pale skin and it didn't seem to make a difference in people's reactions for which I'm pleased.

Well, mine doesn't look much like me except my hair. I have some streaks in my hair. I do have very light skin. The clothes are pretty much the same. But the hair cut isn't really dead-on. I just like playing with mine. First I tried to make it look like me, then I gave up and had fun with it.

Hmmm..... Sort of. Right now my hair is really short though, but before it used to be down around my eyebrows. I look a tad more Asian than my avatar though, but I am actually part American Indian but people always think it is Asian. Humorously I look more Indian than most Indians on reservations though. Others have mistaken me for Italian, which I thought was cool because I used to have a fondness for the Romans.

The hair's right (big, brown, like something from the 50s lol) and I do wear a bow headband. But my avatar looks like she's pouting, and all the women's ones make them look like they're about 15 years old. I'm 23!

Mine is me 17 years ago... I was playing guitar in a college band and the hair just kinda went with the rock!

Just like you the basics, blonde hair blue eyes the shortness of the hair but I don't remember my body looking like that in years lol....

Mine looks quite a bit like me. I have small features on my face, long blonde hair down to my butt, green eyes...so yeah. However, I wish we could change the body figure a bit because I am more of an hourglass, not stick-figure.

I didn't look too much like my avatar at first but since I started using it, I start wearing my hair that way and I think I'm looking more and more like it. Weird, isn't it?
