i've been called a walking dictionary, because within a few minutes i came up with 61 words and meanings and some of these words are not everyday english. some times the teacher feels threatened by the fact a foreigner like me can have a huge range of wors in my vocabulary. my grammar and punctuation is letting me down or else i would have given them a good run for their money.
what can i do to improve grammar and punctuation.

sounds like ur doing just fine by yourself. People always feel an awkward presence by another person knowing more than themselves... some people pay more attention to detail.. maybe you should practice you social skills and not be forward in knowing everything.

I normally tell my students to talk to English people but that won´t help you with grammar, google up some exercises, Cambridge has some good websites, for punctuation and grammar...you need exercises to do and to read a lot. good luck.

Read, read, read--it will come, and almost be automatic. (If you have never studied grammar & punctuation, read English textbooks.)

I am wondering where you are, what nationality, and what is your mother tongue?
I would like to help as languages and semantics etc are my hobbies.
