As British Troops Leave, Battle Erupts Over Basra.

The turmoil in the capital of the southern province, home to a key port and most of the country's oil wealth, signals the beginning of the kind of battles that could erupt in Iraq as outside forces depart, say analysts. "There will be a power vacuum in Basra," says Martin Navias, an analyst at the Centre for Defence Studies at King's College in London. "As the British begin to extricate themselves from Basra, there will be fighting among these groups."

I didn't realize all Brits were Democrats.

1.) They were fighting before we got there.
2.) They've been fighting for over 1000 years.
3.) They were fighting before the CIA put Hussein in power.
4.) They'll be fighting after we leave, whether they have a democratic government in place or not.


5.) You can't reason with religious fanatics, whether they're Sunni, Shiite, Kurdish, or Christian! You guys are all illogical loons that follow your religion no matter how much things makes sense, make no sense, or cause death and destruction.

They would sell their moms to the sex slaves for power. The hate America, they love power. They have no care for America. They want power not whats best for America!!!!

i could have sworn that our eminent vice president said that the brits leaveing was GOOD thing.
