Yes he is all for it. He is hoping we create something to destroy us

Humans have been selectively engineering our environment for thousands of years. We create plants that adapt well to certain environments. We leveled the forests in Scotland, so it looks entirely different today.

We've been changing species for thousands of years. Look at domesticated animals, as well as the tomatoes in your grocery store.

Heinke crabs in Japan have a shell that resembles the face of a human samurai. This is because myths said that the samurai lost in a certain battle became crabs on the ocean floor. Then people who ate the crabs started to toss back the ones that resembled samurai. Over hundreds of years, the crabs started to resemble people.

So humans have been changing our environment from the moments we evolved on this planet. The question is not if something is right or wrong in the eyes of a deity. The question is if it helps humanity to survive.

And I think that genetic engineering does, especially if it can be used to help starving populations and reduce the need for pesticides.

lots of the cons are are the two ethical or non secular themes... some human beings think of genetic engineering might bring about an entire new marketplace for abused splendor surguries, asserting that folk will attempt their toughest to play the guidelines of and time. human beings additionally concern that cloning would be a huge concern in taking part in god. the coolest issues that would upward thrust up genetic engineering, may well be issues like replacment organs and limbs that isn't reject the host becasue iot come from the host. additionally with the flexibility to, modify and alter cancers and sophisticated desiase that are previous genetically

No, it is reaching the greatest height of human arrogance.

Fact, I saw where genetic engineering material had been dumped into a small lake and it cause a leach to mutate to gigantic size, it attached itself to a girl's arm and no one could get it off, she died. All that happened was they put up a sign at the lake that said NO Swimming. Genetic Engineering is dangerous to the whole planet.

If god hates genetic engineering, then he must also hate hair cuts, medicine, surgery, sex, wine, breeding, cancer or anything else that manipulates a creature physically, mentally or emotionally. He hasn't intervened in any of these things yet. Let God do something about it if he doesn't like it. Until he says he's not happy about something smart people are doing, why don't you mind your own simple business and let scientists save lives.

I havent convinced myself there is a God, but I'll pretend there is one for the sake of your question.

If God created humans, he was also the one that gave us our curiosity and determination to answer the question "Why?" He created us with the ability to expand our knowledge and explore science and possibilities. I think, if there is a God, he would be proud of our advances in technology. He created us this way didnt he? How could he give us this incredible mind and expect us to ignore what we know and what we can do?

since ther is no god and he is all in the minds of people who need a crutch I say let them complain all they want about all the science fields. As they are pumping gas, bagging groceries, or doing a price check at walmart. But when they get sick, they should have their invisible man heal them and not ask their hated science.
