That is possible. God could have made more people even if it was not reported in the Bible.
But Adam and Eve made also a lot of other children. He could have taken one of his relatives with him. : )

Cain married his sister.
It wasn't a problem back then; the human race was new and there was no time for genetic defects to build up. It wasn't until the time of Moses that it became forbidden for brothers and sisters to marry.
Adam and Eve kept cranking out children long after Cain had left the nest. Eventually, he runs into a woman. It's his sister, but he doesn't care, because he didn't grow up with her, so she would be like a stranger to him. It wouldn't be "weird".

And who lived in the city that Enoch, Cain's son built?
You don't need to read very far into the bible to find things that don't make any sense. I guess god isn't a very good writer. He should have created Shakespeare to write the bible for us. At least there would be some great puns for us to enjoy for thousands of years.

Cain left Eden, and went to the land of Nod, east of Eden. He found his wife there. If you read Genesis carefully, you can see that God apparantly made men and women on the Earth, and then seems to have made Adam and Eve separately, for some reason.
I have heard it said before that 2 different traditions were combined to creat the book of Genesis, which could account for some seeming discrepancies.
Genesis, chapters 1-6

Keep in mind that the Bible has been re-written and re-worked several times by several different cultures. It cannot be literally translated. I think that during the lives of Cain and Abel there were many different cultures living in the Mid-East region. Cain probably married a woman from one of those tribes or cultures living nearby.

A lot of the answers I have heard to this question, on here, is that it was his sister that he married and had a child with. So, according to the Bible and a lot of Christians, we all come from an incestious relationship, and, as we all know, incest can cause MAJOR birth defects.
That explains a lot about humanity today, dosent it?

MANKIND ADHAM

Most have read when Cain talked with Abel and in the field killed him.
Gen.4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
God then cursed and drove Cain out, and Cain said.
Gen.4:14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
WHO IS CAIN WORRIED ABOUT?
Gen.4:17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
WHERE DID CAIN FIND A WIFE?
The answer is in the Hebrew text of (Gen.1:26 and Gen.2:7).

The word “man” (Gen.1:26) in the Hebrew text looks like this ( ××× ), with no article means “MANKIND”, transliterated is (adam).
><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><>
ADHAM
Gen.2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
