everytime i take a nap, i always wake up more tired then i was before. Or just feeling plain sick. I just woke up from one, and i had a headache before, and now i have a worse one.. and the pain is like all on the left side of my head. I thought naps were suppose to make you feel better!

Sometimes after a long nap one tends to feel worse. It has something to do with sleep patterns/ wave patterns in the brain as you sleep. Try taking shorter naps. No longer than 20 minutes. Anything longer than that and your brain waves switch you into deep sleep mode, the kind of mode that your brain puts you in when you're already in deep sleep. (example: nighttime). I recommend increments of 10 minutes.
Hope that helps!

To answer the part about feeling more tired (I can't help you with the ones about pain and headaches), it depends on how long the nap is. The same thing happens to me when I fall asleep for more than 20 or 30 minutes. Maybe try shortening your naps to 20 or 30 minutes so that it's just enough to make you feel refreshed and energized. Anything more, and it's really too long. You will wake up feeling more tired and lazy and not want to get up (or that's how I usually feel after a nap that's too long).

I understand this feeling. I have found it's best not to nap for more than 20-25 minutes. When I get up I feel rested and have more energy. If I sleep longer than that I am even more tired, cranky, sore and I can't sleep later at night. Try limiting the length of time for your naps and see how you feel.

You actually have time to nap?

WOW - you must be young... Anyway-

when you don't feel right put yourself in a different state of mind by thinking of something positive and moving quickly.

focus your attention on a task or something that will empower you.

The more time you have to make yourself feel bad, the worst you'll feel.

MOVE, react, do something and you won't have the time to feel bad.

It works....
