Could be that you're trying to save more information on to the disk than it has room. So it keeps telling you to put in a new one because the machine is expecting a larger size.

Depends on what you are doing. Either the disc you have is not empty, or its the wrong type.

It is asking for re-writable which means either CD-RW or DVD-RW

You might be using CD-R or DVD-R

cuz if its not RW than its CD-R which means if u use it once the cd can never be edited again, so its asking for a new cd,or new disc that can be used multiple times

Some burners will only work with CDR's and some only with CDRW's. Make sure you have the one that's right for your's.
