Usually others want friends that are smart and very kind but honest and selfless and would care if one says anything.Good hygiene is important and their interests . To find all theses you may need to look for those qualities.

A person might look for similarities in a friend.Some make friends with their role models.Normally, what i llook for in a true friend is someone who can understand you, your family, religion,race, orientation, and everything else. In a friens, people looks for someone who won't abuse them. Someone they can rely on when they need something and someone they can gladly help back too. Personaly and interest play an important role too.
Making friends with someone just because they are popular or socially superior for some reason is not friendship, it's is more like leeching.
A great friend does not have to talk to you always,although its great, because everytime you guys see or talk to each other, nothing changes and sincerity and joys comes in.

I look for someone, I can, laugh, cry, and tell anything to, because I know they'll still love, and not judge me no matter what

i look for someone who will call me up, do things with me, share there likes, dislikes, and everything. i do'nt have friends. but that's what i would look for.
