My wife says that she has a sound similar to ringing in her ears. The sound, however, is of her blood pulsing through her ears. Does anyone have this and/or know what causes it? It's a fairly constant humming/ringing from what I can tell.

Thanks.

what your wife has sounds like tinnitus. I have had this for 20 years now. I got it from going to see rock concerts and standing to close to the ampliers and damaged my hearing. I have learned to just get used to it cuz it never goes away tell her not to dwell on it cuz it will drive her crazy ,just put radio or tv on and it helps to mask the noise. I heard that lipoflavinoid oil from the drug store helps. you don't need a prescription so check it out hope it helps

There are several cause for bloody ear drainage. This may or may not be serious, but I would recommend she see a doctor as soon as possible.
