We have been together 4yrs, we get along great but it is so difficult for me to trust him. I am not sure if I should let things go or not.

Trust is the foundation of any relationship. No trust, no relationship. I've found it easier to let things go and let the person go too. Life is too short to wonder what someone is up to or wonder if they're telling you the truth. End it and find someone you can trust and don't have to second guess all the time.

Should you stay with someone that you don't trust. Let's see when would you think is the appropriate time to leave? After you're pregnant or have a child? After he sleeps with your best friend. After he empties your bank account to buy his new girlfriend a diamond ring. Perhaps you think it would be wise to wait til a combo of those things happen and then you can leave and after he calls crying you can take him back cause he promised never to do it again.
If you stay you deserve your future.

I Just walked away from a relationship because of lack of trust. We had been seeing one another on and off for 3 years, This last time for 5 months straight thru. He stopped calling and messaging all of a sudden after he dropped me off on a Sunday night. It's the last i heard from him for 14 days. Then he was brave enough to tell me there was someone else. After all that, he calls one sunday evening and I told him I would take him Back, Mistake! He kept acting sketchy and the whole sex routine was way out of whack. Althout he swore to me on everything holy to him that he never even kissed her. Walk away.

Without trust, you have nothing!
If you don't trust him, you have a 4-year-old sex life, not a relationship.
If you don't trust him, for a reason, you need to let him know. You need to talk and work it out. If you don't trust him, and you don't have a good reason, then you need to tell him, and let him help you.
What are you letting go? If he is not absolutely transparent, then he is up to something.
If he is up to something, he will keep it up, even after you leave. He will just get a new woman to torture.
If he is transparent and you still don't trust him, then you need to build your self-esteem to handle yourself with or without him, because hewill leave you eventually.

Well, are the reasons you don't trust him valid? I mean, have you caught him being dishonest in the past? Nothing predeicts future behavior as well as past behavior.
However, even if your fears aren't valid, the fact that you have them despite validity shows that something is wrong.
I think you should break it off because
a) if you don't trust him because he's untrustworthy, case closed. It's relationship suicide to stay with someone you can't trust.
b) if you don't trust him "just because," and he IS trustworthy, you should break up because he deserves to be with someone who trusts him.

Does he ingore you? Does he not say sry whenhe does something bad? If you have problems trusting him why not tell him, that you don't and talk to one other to build that trust again. If you feel that you never will then i am sry to say but yes it's time to move on. If their is no trust in a relationship then it's heading down the drain.

It depends on why you don't trust him...is it because you can't trust anyone, or did he do something that is the reason why you can't trust him? If you have trust issues in a relationship, you won't make it very far.
