This is in response to Answerer #2---sometimes the disciples were also called the apostles. If you look up their
names in either of the lists, you'll see that they appear in both. (Unger's Bible
Handbook, pgs. 474, 496 & 497).

Yes, I just read it a few weeks ago. I think it's in John. I'll look it up. ...

Sorry, I can't find it. But I do remember Him sending the Apostles out to preach the gospel and he sent them to different areas, some ( I think it said 2 by 2) to one area some to another, then they returned back to him. I remember thinking that this was done to teach them how to go about missionary work.
