know there has to be a better way to end this war. Why does anyone have to die for something that has been going on since the beginning of time .If theres a God He wouldnt want his children fighting.Why cant all of these so called leaders get together and play foot ball or some sport to see whos the winner and do it again next week .Very little blood shed just a few broken bones. I guess that would be to easy .I know there has to be a way to end this violence.God help us.

Belinda, a troop surge is not the answer. The answer has to come from the Iraqi people themselves. I do not advocate a quick withdrawal from Iraq either but this will never end if we try to end it militarily, there has to be a diplomatic solution as they are in a civil war and will not accept any solution from outside influences. .

Bassman5 hit it on the spot. It's all about money. Just ask the Bush family friends in Saudi Arabia and Cheney with his ties to Halliburton. Has nothing to do with freedom. The women in Saudi Arabia have it a lot worse then the women in Iraq and we are doing nothing to free them. The 9/11 hijackers didn't come from Iraq but yet that the place we invaded. Does it have to do with them sitting on the second largest oil reserves in the world? As long as the weathy republicans are making their money we will stay in Iraq and continue the war draining the American treasury and losing precious American lives.

I agree with bassman. Ending greed would go a long way toward ending violence. Maybe someday humans can get beyond greed. Sadly, I doubt it will happen within my life time, if ever.

you agree with bush.... were we not there to rid iraq of saddam and WMD's ? we'll saddam is gone and theres no WMD's so lets leave.. let them fight their own civil war. We have our own war going on here in the US its called immigration, unemployed, Big 3 going down hill fast. crime drugs etc..
