okay, take your time to do this. Put some ice cubes in a ziplock bag and place the ice on your finger for about 5 minutes, taking care of not burning your skin. Then get some oil (cooking oil is fine) and start rubbing your finger down, slowly, for 5 more minutes, then in a circular motion, like unscrewing, try to take it off. It has worked for me, hope it does for you.

I used to be asst mgr of a jewelry store and the best thing is to use Windex as it has ammonia which ia a cooling agent and it works wonders no cutting off of rings as the blood vessels cool down and the swelling goes down and off comes the ring

look this question up on previous answers-someone had a good suggestion that worked. You wrap dental floss from your finger tip down to ring, slipping some floss through the ring, pull it back and slip the ring off over the floss. check on previous answers thou, cause the person explained it very well!

All been said before but the three best things to do are, raise the hand above the heart so the blood runs out of it, place ice wrapped in a towel or cotton sheet on it to cool it down, then use oil or similar lubricant. Then twist it off slowely and carefully, this way it won't jam on the loose skin on ur knuckles as easily.

I know it is hard on you try some cooking oil or Crisco and rub it all over your finger and then gently keep working the ring off.

If all else fails, go to an EMS station, they can cut the ring off.

Stick your finger in a pot of oil or something. Do you have a deep fryer that's cold? It's easier to work it off if your whole finger is in the oil when your trying to pull it off and twist it round and up.

There are several things you can try... rubbing hand soap (without water) all over the ring and your finger, rubbing butter on it, rubbing oil on it... run your finger under cold water... try all those! :) Good luck!

well you're nervous so your fingers will swell up because your body heat goes up when your nervous. #1 relax #2 use soap and water use your body temperature goes down #3 if that doesn't work, then...unfortunately you would have to cut it off. good luck
