Truth is relative, including yours. Your belief that your truth is absolute is a delusion. Your truth was invented by the people who invented your God and your religion to serve their purposes. Osama bin Laden's truths were invented to serve his people and his culture. They are inventions that have been touted as truth for so long and with such lofty claims that you and he and millions of other people now each believes that his own invented truth is from God himself. My own truths are what I believe, invented also, plucked here and there so that I can make sense of the world. I believe what I believe from whatever source it comes, I just don't have a big ancient book to '"verify" (please note the quotation marks) my beliefs. I guess I trust my own heart too much, shame on me, but I don't have the balls to claim that it came from a holy spirit, a claim that I personally find extremely arrogant and distasteful. The only absolute truth is nature itself, without human interpretation. We, mankind all invent what we need in order to survive, including all of the truths that make our world make sense. What you call your holy truth is just as relative as anyone else's, it has just had a lot of time to be taught and accepted and it's had a lot of very pushy salesmen over the centuries.

Screw Osama bin Laden. His 'divine' truth that he believes in obviously is not. Neither was that of Queen Isabella or Charlemagne, both of whom who killed a lot of people in the name of Christianity.

All Truth is relative but relative to what? Relative to human beings murder is a crime. Relative to ants it is not.

There's no logic going on in the "truth is relative" peoples' minds. I wouldn't try to understand them.

The same reasons Christians, Buddists, Jews, and atheists have their conflicts. Simple difference of beliefs.

Well that's where you're wrong... I don't hate him. I understand his non-virtuous behavior arises from causes and conditions and while he should be stopped, along with any others who use religion (or not) as a vehicle for hate and abuse, nobody should HATE.
