red. i drink probably 60% red and 40% white. Not fan of the Rose wine...just don't get it.

and to get this straight when most of us on the food and drink site refer to Zinfandel we are referring to the Red Zinfandel. Not White Zinfandel. White Zinfandel is a white wine made from red zinfandel grapes that are left on the skins for a short while and pick up the pink color. They are two entirely different animals and should never be compared in the same breath.

White zin is like a step up from wine coolers. It is kool aide for adults.

And you cannot even compare someting like a white zin as a rose from france.

The only Rose you'll catch me drinking would be a great French style one. The rest are usually wines made for children. Not my thing.

I drink mostly red wines, but I will switch to tasty whites during the summer and with certain foods.

I prefer a lovely soft rose, not too sweet. But tonight I'm drinking red cos my son bought it me for Mothers day. A fruity Spanish number, Dragon Tempranillo. Very nice.

I absolutely love a good, full-bodied red. I find rose's to be entirely too sweet and sugary...more like glorified fruit juice. My favorites are Shiraz-Grenance, Shiraz, Cabernet-Sauvignon and a great Zinfandel.

Also, to set the record strait, Zinfandel and White Zinfandel are 2 ENTIRELY DIFFERENT things. A Zinfandel is a full-bodied red wine and a White Zinfandel is a rose/blush and literally left-overs from Zinfandel grapes, with the skins removed and sugar added. It is a common misperception, which can lead to a disappointing meal since the varietals are so different.

I used to love red wine until one evening when I returned home and saw my black lips and tongue, now I drink Rose and I love it.
