Just watched qualifying and it looks to me that DEI is still struggling and Toyota's COT is no better than it was before because both Michael Waltrip and his teammate failed to qualify. Menard with DEI didn't qualify again and that means he's not going to be in the top 35 in points after Bristol.

it's not a question of money. DEI, Hendrick, RCR, ROUSH/FENWAY all spend insane amount of money.

the problem is in the Garage and Tech.

Well the "car of tomorrow" is now the "car of day after tomorrow" I was at the Atlanta race and was able to walk right up to one of them. It's OK but it's boxier if that makes sense, a higher roof line and not as aerodynamic in the front.

It'll be a demo derby for sure with something new at Bristol. It should be a good race.

Well the Car of Tomorrow passed the first test that one was qualifying.
