So what's new?

It would be as hard to sink their entire fleet as it is to kill an ant by stepping on it.

Sinking the Iranian navy would probably not be very difficult, but the problem would not be eliminated. The bigger problem is Iran's enrichment of uranium and supplying weapons and personnel to Hezbollah and Iraq militia.

A strike group led by the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis recently joined a similar force in the Persian Gulf led by the carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Furthermore, the French nuclear carrier Charles de Gaulle and its task force met up with the USS John C. Stennis last Wednesday.

If only the UN had some real backbone and could deal with international disturbances. I suggest we turn the heat up slowly, and see if it produces some good sense on their part, lets not start off with over-the-top violence. It will just cause them to reciprocate. Most of all we need to stop spending 500 billion on the war in Iraq and spend the money on research to stop importing their crude oil.

well, you can solve the problem by not interferring with iran's preferences and needs and you can't stop it's processes because it's an independant country which wants to protect itself. So plz don't talk about something, you're not sure about.

Iran is not Iraq. Iran has a strong military and many allies. Bush has created a disaster in Iraq. He'll have his a s s handed to him in Iran...We can wipe them out but not without loosing 10's of thousands of our own.

Not hard. Until the U.S. liberal religion gets into gear moaning and groaning about "we need to understand the butchering, slaughtering, opppressed terrorists"..........
