Yes through the UKC, and through private Pitbull breeder organizations. My dogs compete all the time, its great we all have a good time especially the dogs.

They can be in UKC shows, but AKC only allows American Staffordshire Bull Terriers in their shows. Am Staffs are very similar to a Pit though.

Yes. I have seen quite a few Pit Bulls that were in dog shows that aired on Animal Planet. I have yet to see one win but they are there.

I do not suppose so and what a shame, some are beauties! We're thinking of displaying our staffy in a show, no longer really crufts but she is robust! I agree whole hearted with you on the legal guidelines, silly owner's have executed nothing for any of those quality puppies, Pi55es me off at any time when I read one more story where an animal has been so mistreated, will get out and the owner's don't care one bit, they're the ones who should be flaunted on the news and within the paper's, banned from owning any pet and ensure the ban is enforced as i have visible people with one other dog despite the fact that banned!

Pit Bulls and Staffordshires are not the same thing. FYI. Staffi's are in the dog show but I have never seen one win.

the first to people are wrong.. the pit bull have there own show with in the clubs. i know that AKC does not have them because they consider them mixed breed. i do not know about UKC.
