I truly want to live my life pleasing God. He put that desire in my heart, the day He saved me. He made a change in my life. I have the desire to go to church, pray, and read my bible. I tell others how much Jesus loves them, and how to be saved. We will never be perfect as long as we have this body, but we should live our life as close to God as we can, and put our faith, and trust in Him.

Right On. You just can't understand if your not Christian. I don't need everyone frowning on me all the time, I believe in God, (just become saved and try to follow the 10 commandments best u can), and u'll get eternal peace. I don't need all that fiery confusing religion war-starting hatred. God is the Truth, God is NOT religion!

Do as Jesus commanded you, not as your churches and councils command you.

Word of God, 1Chron 17:3-4 "Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the Lord, thou shall not build me a house to dwell in:"

John 11:48 "for if we let him alone, all men will believe on him; and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation"

It depends one what you mean by "God." I don't want some nebulous idea of God, I don't want the God of American Civil religion, I don't want the God of Muhammed, the God of modern Judaism, the God of the Mormans, the God of the Jehovah's Witnesses, the God of the Unitarians, or the Self of secular Americans.

I bow myself before Jesus Christ.

The position of pleasing and obeying our Creator has been my most earnest desire. Just as important as seeing a true manifestation of Jesus in this earth, i've come to the reality that a clean life is a prerequisite. it's something about a pleasing life that causes GOD to hear the prayers of his people and to answer their calls.

totally fine not to attend church and all the other "stuff". for HE tells us to pray in private, to do our good deeds in HIS name in private, to take no glory.

I attend no churches, no study classes, nothing. Have no cross in my house, around my neck and I don't carry my bible. But am working on a path of becoming a counselor for HIS word. For that is what my very name defines as. the "church" for the most part has become corrupt I hate to say. even the bible warns us of it.

Amen Sister. This is what it's about a personal relationship with the Lord and is not about religion.
