can anyone tell me about a internet support group?

I just want to say, that I feel for you and what your going through, My good friends mother just went through all that with alzeihymers and she pass over right before thanksgiving, it tore my friend up bad, he still misses her so much..
just do all you can to make him comfortable. try to bear with the outrages and the changes in personality. Im sure there is a support group, I would just go to alzeihymers.com.. I bet it will bring upsomething to that affect of support..
I wish they would find a cure for that one. its not a very good time for anyone who suffers with a family member that has it.. it s tough. hang in there, it will be okay, and they will be out of pain and misery soon.
just got to be tougher then it is..

Most areas have a Alzheimer's associations. Also your local nursing homes or hospitals should be able to give you support groups right in your area. If you have not ever dealt with someone with this disease a local group would be more supportive than an Internet group. May God be with you and your family as the disease progresses.

Oh, I understand why you need a support group. Especially if you are his caregiver right now. It is VERY hard and you are frustrated and you don't want to put him in a nursing home. You feel guilty and sad. Oh, yeah. Been there.

You don't need an internet support group. Support him with your love and care. And tell him you love him all the time.
