The best first impression is a big beautiful warm smile. A guy who can look you in the eye with sincerity. A man who knows how to treat a lady by being a gentleman.A guy who is comfortable with himself and others. Old fashioned manners are always nice. One who does not curse and respects a woman is a must. One who is an upright moral human being is a must. The twinkle in a guys eye that says he is a happy person and is happy to be with you. One who can laugh and joke around. Clothes mean very little to me as long as one is clean. Looks mean very little as long takes care of himself. Of course, my husband would be the perfect male because he possesses all the above qualities and more. I was attracted to his smile and intellect.

The best first impression when a guy approaches a girl, or when he is going on a first date with her is always personality. Be a gentlemen, NO MATTER WHAT. Remember that the guy WANTS to make a good impression on the girl, so treat her as if you were going to get a job somewhere professional and you really want this job, so you have to work hard and not necessarily kiss up, but be yourself and you will know what to do at the right time. Hold the door open for her, when you are talking or she is talking and you guys talk at the same time, don't interrupt her, politely ask her to proceed. If there is complete silence, bring up something to talk about so she doesn't think you're boring, say something like "so, what's your favorite color?", find things that you guys have in common. Don't overdo that though, find things that you guys don't agree on, that you like blue and she likes pink, women love honesty, and sometimes they can never find that. Most importantly, have manners. Nobody wants to eat next to someone who chews with their mouth open while talking about whatever. No nose picking, belching, or farting. That's for later if you get really comfortable because some girls are cool like that, but since this is just "first impression" it's a totally different case. :D !

Without having heard a word spoken from the guy-
He must be clean. Not every guy can afford to be dressed in clothes from an expensive store. As long as he's clean and the clothes are clean.
Once he opens his mouth-
No swearing- you look like you are too stupid to think of an intelligent way to describe something.

i think the best first impression you could have is your smile and your personality...when you see a girl you always want to be friendly and a nice friendly smile usually does the trick. But nice hair helps also

The best first impression is to totally be your self.Don't act stupid and childish be a gentlemen.Open doors for her etc.Manners go along way with women.But you also have to keep it up.Don;t just do it for a week.Clothes hair and smile do nothing,as long as your clean looking .Be yourself and show respect you will get along with just those 2 things.

Appearance, cleanliness and a great smile hugely attract both sexes. Most people are stingy with a smile, for whatever reason in this country! Really foolish on their part...it opens up conversation, it creates a level of comfort for all and invites discourse.

Casual outfit... no holes in the jeans and make sure your outfit is wrinkle free, keep hair decent: not spikes with tons of gel (unless you are under 18), smile honestly, don't be "cocky" or fake a laugh or you'll sound as stupid as Tom Cruise.
Be confident... don't cross your arms over your chest, or cross your legs... and don't be too shy.
Be yourself and the girls who like your type will be around.

well first i look at hair and fingernails ! if you have clean fingernails .. you are pretty much a clean person .. then hair cos if your hair is lookin good i reaalllyyy like you already cos you pay attention and think about what your lookin like BUT then if your personality sucks then well i obvviioooussslyy no longer like you but if your nice and stuff .. well get in there ! .. ohh and smell .. u HAVE to smell good .. guys that smell bad are totally not good .. nice after shave .. yes please ! .. AND obviously the best first impression to get has to be ... WELLI FANCY U ! .. you know what i mean ?

Jeans and a nice shirt and maybe a blazer looks good on almost ALL guys so that would be a good choice, smile alot if you have good teeth if not then jus nod and talk dont smile if you dont have good teeth, hair gelled ...maybe spiked, depends, good luck.
