I got a letter too. My dad decided to do it, so I don't know if it is a scam. They seem to have a reputable website - they offer scholarships and such.

I'm pretty sure its some sort of scam or even if its legit, just a way to make money.
I recieved a letter from The National Society of High School Scholars, but they wanted like $45.
At my school to be the National Honor Society, its completely free, as long as you've got the GPA and grades.

Doesn't really look like a scam.

It does cost $45, but apparently they waive fees for students who can't afford it.

It seems legit to me - you must have been nominated by a teacher.
