If Protestants all have the Holy Spirit to make their interpretation of the Bible infallible, then they should all agree on their interpretation when compared to one another.

So, to test this, here are a few questions for Protestants of all denominations.

When giving an answer, please indicate which Protestant congregation or tradition u belong to (i.e. Baptist, 7th Day Adventist, Lutheran, etc.), and tell if u believe that u have the Holy Spirit to guide u in the truth):

a) Is abortion a sin?

b) Is homosexual sex a sin?

c) Is human cloning a sin?

God is not a god of confusion but the God of truth.

Catholics ARE Christian.

I am so tired of people spouting that hate.

Do you even understand what Catholics are or what Christianity is for that matter?? To the person above.

Protestants are those who protested against the church (Catholic church because nobody had split yet)

Protestants and Catholics ARE CHRISTIAN.

How high and mighty you are when you can deny the Christianity of millions of people worldwide. What exactly is your criteria?

Jesus said in John 3 that when we are Born Again,we are sealed by the Holy Spirit.I tend to believe Jesus.
a) murder is a sin
b) both the Old and New Testaments say it is.(Leviticus and Romans)I could care less, but if they asked,I would tell them so.(c) The bible doesn't speak on that ,I tend to think He will stop us if we go too far.Other than that ,we are to push on and excel.
Non-Denominational Protestant.
No Bible is different than the other. The Catholics add a few more books that the Jews rejected from their canon. The only one that is is the JWs New World translation which is an abortion in itself. They aren't a Denomination anyway they are a cult.
If the churches believe the essentials, they are Christian and it's just a difference of non-essentials.If they completely change the person and work of Christ then, they are a cult.

I'm Non-Denominational, and I know I have the Holy Spirit of God living inside me to guide me back to Him when I fall away. I believe that...

a) Yes, abortion is a sin, unless it would save the mother from dying or for other exceptional purposes. In my mind, abortion is murder. Period. (The sixth commandment: "Thou shalt not murder.")

b) Homosexuality is a sin. Leviticus 18:22 says (to men), "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." It doesn't get much plainer than that! (Also see Romans 1:24-32)

c) Human Cloning is a sin as well!! We were each made individual and unique by God, and by cloning we're pretty much saying that that's not good enough.

All?

I think that most Protestants would argue that the Holy Spirit is infallible, not the Protestant. Your test does not disprove that some, even many, Protestants are guided by divine inspiration. It only proves that Protestants are fallible, something we all already agree on.

You confuse "Protestantism" with Christianity as many do with Catholicism with Christianity. Baptist are not protestant, Lutheran would be, btw.

Baptist do have a fair grip on interpretation. So do Presbyterian and Bible Churches. But they do not believe their interpretation is infallible, never have.

State what religious affiliation you have.

I believe the Word of God supports both abortion and homosexuality to be sin.
As far as human cloning i can't really recall any verse that alludes to that, however I still believe it to be wrong and against the will of God.
I'm a non-denominational Preacher, writer and Evangelist, still using the KJV, 1611, of the Bible.

Then there are extremely some different Holy Spirits, or lots of individuals fooling themselves that they are guided with the help of the Holy Spirit, or the concept is unsuitable in its totality. I certainly have a properly-worn e book "techniques to previous testomony Interpretation", with the help of Goldingay, which purely(?) includes an define of different techniques human beings and communities have understood the OT via the years. "Many and distinctive..." might desire to do as an beginning expression.
