Thanks guys, just a bit of fun seeing as they're my most fave at the mo. I have 4 kids so do quite a bit of exercise and extra on top of that. Just like my bread and wine! Oh and haven't had to carry my own cross, yet! That would do it!!!

You want to know why? Because many years ago different ingredients were used in food preparation -- it didn't have all the "junk" stuff they use now. The food was not lacking and so people actually could eat less and feel satisfied and get all their nutrients. Look at bread now, much is empty calories and lacking nutrition. I have not seen overweight people in any paintings depicting that era. The people were probably pretty darn healthy, no wonder some lived so long.

We are all different, and certainly from God ! We have different metabolic rates and burn energy (or calories) at different rates. You sound unfit to me. If you take more exercise, give up the car and walk everywhere - Jesus Christ did - you might find that you loose weight. Jesus certainly did eat bread and drink wine according to the bible - even ate fish, however the bible does not say how often this happened and it is about his whole life and not just the 3 - 6 hours the television is on.

Jesus did a lot of walking and drank wine made of water. Reminds me of this guy I know that lives in a tent off the left side of Highway 18 North. He decorates his yard with empty Scope and Mad Dog 20/20 bottles.
