Great-great grandmas are grandmothers of any/each/all of your four grandparents.

You -> 2 parents -> 4 grandparents -> 8 great grandparents -> 16 great-great grandparents (8 are female)

(gee I hope I got that right!)

I Done think ya confused yourself lol, lets think this out,

You, Your Mother, Her Mother, Her Mother and Her Mother

You, Your Mother, Your Grandmother, Her Mother and Her Her Mother

You, Your Mother, Your Grandmother, Your Great Grandmother, Her Mother

Hence,

Shes Your Great Great Grandmother
Shes Your Mother Great Grandmother
Shes Your Grandmothers Grandmother
Shes Your Great Grandmothers Mother

Another Way...

The Woman who gave birth to you os your mother

when u have children, that woman becomes their grandmother

When you children have children (you become a grandfather, and the woman who gave birth to you becomes a great grandmother

When your grandchildren have children you become a great grandfather, and the woman who gave birth to you becomes a great great grandmother.

According to medieval superstition, the seventh son of the seventh son was supposed to be predestined to be a witch, but your mother, grandmother and great grandmother were probably all daughters. In the modern world all I can think it would mean is that your family is either remarkably fertile or breeds irresponsibly depending on your views on population.

She would be your mother or father's great grandmother. She would be 4 generations ahead of you.

Great great grandmother would be your grandmother's grandmother, also your great grandmother's mother. For each "great" count back one mother.

Like this: mother --> grandmother -->> great grandmother --> great great grandmother, etc. It would work like this for fathers and grandfathers, uncles, aunts, nieces & nephews. It also works in the opposite direction like: aunt --> nephew --> grandnephew --> great grandnephew.
