They are mentioned in the book of Job 38, being around 'before' the creation of the earth! But why isn't their creation not accounted for in the original creation story of Genesis? Or is Genesis One not talking about original creation, but some recreation or restoration from some terrible judgment?!

Geee, maybe God had other creations before He started in on us. Maybe He has had some since... He is God after all and part of His nature is to create.... Jim

The Bible begins its creation story with the creation of this earth not of the creation of the other worlds. That doesn't mean that they were not created at some point in the past, nor do we know how long they have existed prior to the Gen. account. God has been around for hmmm quite some time now =) So im sure there have been angels for a while as well.

Genesis one million: 21 mentions "great sea monsters", and winged flying creatures. each little thing grew to become into made " in accordance to that's variety," for the reason that then no creature, or human has been in a position to reproduce something exterior of that's very own kinfolk group. a chilly blooded reptile or heat blooded creature, no count that's length, did no longer might desire to strengthen right into a chicken, or the different animal to stay to tell the tale. some species of animals grew to alter into extinct because of fact of adjustments on earth. Smaller representations of those are around right this moment. Genesis would not record each variety and type interior of each variety that grew to become into made, and additionally would not point out bugs, it says; "creatures of the sea, the land and the air". for the reason that birds have been already right here, they did no longer might desire to alter from dinosaurs to alter into birds. It would not state that the illuminaries; the solar and the moon, have been created after the flora. in case you look at it extra heavily, you will see that that there grew to become into" a branch made between easy and darkness", Gen one million: 4. the ambience around the earth grew to become into altered so as that the easy of the already present solar might attain the earth's floor to make the flora strengthen. The universe and earth have been in existance for an exceedingly long term, in all possibility billions of years, Gen one million:one million. The resourceful days weren't 24 hour days as some have speculated, they have been classes of a plenty longer time. those stages of time defined the coaching of the already present earth for all times. Then it describes the extremely some varieties of creatures and finally, guy. It would not say how previous the earth and the universe are.

Probably the same reason that you don't see many names of Angels mentioned in the Bible. As far as the Bible goes, the most detailed account given is man's walk with GOD and the biblical principles he's left here for us to live and to learn from. It is generally interpreted that in v. 3 when we see a division of light and darkness that this is referring to the Angels/Demons since the actual sun/moon had yet to be made until the Fourth day. So i guess the biggest thing is that GOD purposefully didn't expound on these things, cause Man would try his best to find ways to worship angels as well....we'll learn these things in the life to come

I'm no theologian, but I believe that Genesis is the account of the creation of Earth... not heaven/heavenly beings.

Genesis gives an outline of creation not a detailed account but notice that God does not use "I" but rather "we" and "us".
Where we came from is no where near as important as where we're going.

There are not enough verses to Biblically believe in a pre-Adam race. The Bible doesn't mention a lot of mysteries and that is why they remain as such. Remember it is faith that pleases God and no one can know everything exhaustively unless they were God.

looks like you answered your own question. the Bible introduces topical subjects and enlarges here and there. skips to something else. then later picks up on that subject elsewhere. its a code book.
