You've asked three questions and the answer to the first answers all three. Wallpaper is by far the best choice. At your age the chances are very good this paper will last until you go to college and Mum turns your room into a sewing room. Finding a paper that really expresses who you are will give you a haven for the next 6 to 8 years that can feel and look fresh until the day you leave. When you find the right paper it will give you a color scheme that will, if you use your head, work with whatever shade of pink you like the best. As for the last question; which is easiest? Who cares?

So happy for you, it's so much fun decorating, isn't it. Well, first of all, painting is much easier than wallpapering. People usually hire professional wallpaper hangers since it really does require some practice. Also when you paint, it's much cheaper than wallpaper and you can change the color whenever you wish.
As far as good colors to go with pink: blue, green, purple, brown (pink and brown are very popular right now) or a combination of colors as long as they have pink in them (like a multi-colored bedspread). An easy thing to do is to find the bedspread that you love and pick one of the colors out of the bedspread that you like to go with pink. Use that color in a throw rug, throw pillows, art work or a throw (the little blankets). Have fun and hope you love your new room.

PAINT!! by far. with wallpaper... it is harder to find what you are looking for and it is a bigger hassle to hang and take down. with paint... you can get the right color, easier to put up and cover. i have all painted walls in my room and one wall is a mural of the beach and it is made out of what is like wallpaper and it doesn't look that great even tho it is a really cool picture and so... actually in like 20 mins a guy is coming and taking it down and he is going to spray paint a mural on the wall.
some colors that go good with pink... well it depends on the pink... if it is lighter then do a brown w/ white or a light blue. if it is a brighter or darker pink.. orange goes really well w/ white or u can do brown again. brown goes with any pink. my room is orange and pink and white and my bathroom is pink, brown and white:)
i would def. do paint and with wallpaper sometimes you don't meet the creases just right and you can see them.. kinda a pain.
good luck and have fun!!! :)

Well depending on how much money your mom wants to spend on it, I'd say it's cheaper and a whole lot easier to paint it! Now you can paint your room pink and then border the top and/or bottom of the walls with a (4") wallpaper also. My suggestion would be of flowers, Teddy bears, or whatever design you want, to offset it.

Paint. Providing the plaster is in pretty good nick it is easier and quicker to paint (Emulsion)and this can easily be cleaned or colour change if necessary without having to strip walls etc.The colour I like with pink is a pale beige but young ladies like yourself might have different ideas.Get a paint chart from B&Q or Homebase and try a few of the colours against the shade of pink you have chosen and see what you prefer. It's your room and you will be the one spending time there so it's what suits you.You can have violent purple if you wish.

Paint, paint, paint.
Ask anyone who has ever had to remove wallpaper. It's a nightmare. A bad color ages better than a bad print, so go with paint.
What goes with pink? Well, more pink. Try different shades of it on different walls or sections. You could also go with white, light green, light blue.

Paint. Just paint. If you hang wallpaper, then there's all the messing about with the paste and hanging the paper correctly, etc., etc. I moved into a refurbished house 4 years ago that was emulsioned throughout and that's how it's going to stay. there's no way I'm going to start hanging wallpaper.

Paint is better than wallpaper, you an change the colour as often as you want, wallpaper can be too much hassel if you want a change too often and I think that lilac goes nice with pink too.
