About 3 months after getting my cat from a petsmart (or one of those) she started acting really weird. Shed jst b sittin there wen all of a sudden she'd start to twitch really bad then she'd one outta the room or mayb jst a coupla feet n start to scratch herself or "bite" herself. Sumtimes she does this multiple times n sumtimes its jst one times. I think she might hve fleas but she's nvr been outta the house n she's nvr come in contact w/ othr animals. Is it possible she has fleas or is my cat jst weird?

It is possible she has fleas. But it sounds like ti could also be an allery or a neurological issue called Rolling Back Syndrome.

I would have her see a vet. All three possibilities require attention.

Yes it is possible. Fleas can come in on your clothes, or through doors or windows if they are open or not sealed properly. I would get a flea comb (two or three dollars at Publix) and comb the cat to look for fleas. If you can see fleas, use advantage on the cat. I have an indoor cat that got fleas and found that advantage worked the best.

Also, make sure you treat the carpet. Vacuum, then get some 20 Mule Team Borax (in the laundry aisle at most grocery stores) and sprinkle it wherever the carpet is exposed. It's safe for pets and gets rid of the fleas fast. (within a week in my case)

If you don't find any fleas with the comb, a trip to the vet might be in order if the behavior continues.

they can get flash even if they are indoors...you should get some advantage flea ointment at the vet,you can go in with out the cat and but 1 dose which is 11,00dollers in Seattle...after that you should get a flea bomb at the hardware store to get rid of all the little blood suckers...you should get the flea ointment soon as flea eggs cause tapeworms in cats and that's not good as they eat all the kittys food in her body..

Its very possible that she may have fleas they don't always come from animal to animal contact I have four cats and that is very odd behavior if she does not have something going on with her. Have her looked at by a vet asap

You can bring fleas into your house on your clothes and shoes. Fleas can lay eggs in your carpets and they can remain unhatched for up to 2 years. Ask your vet for the best flea repellant for your area and flea bomb the house.Good luck.

Yes it is possible for your cat to have fleas. You could have brought them in with you from another animal you may have come in contact with.

It is definately possible. If someone comes into your house with fleas on them it takes no time to infest your house!
