There is an 8 year difference between myself and my younger sisters. But now I am 23 and they are 15. When I was about you age, (they would have been 7) we went shopping alot. We liked watching tv. Every other Friday or Saturday, I would invite 2 of my friends and they would invited 2 of there friends and we would have a big sleep-over. That way, you get to know more about your sister and you have fun while doing it. Try playing fun games and eating yummy snacks. And of coarse, ofter the little one falls asleep, you and your friends can hang out alone.

Try having like a pizza and movie girls night at home, just the two of you.
Or maybe take her out to hang out on a weekend.
Me and my sister hang out a lot and we get along fabulously.
If neither of those two work, try having a secret between the two of you or an inside joke, if you treat her like a friend and not just a little sister then there should be no problems bonding.
Hope this helps.

You should have a girls night. Get together for pizza, a movie date and hang out in your pj's. Younger sisters are usually in awe of their older (cooler) siblings. An outing at the mall would be neat too. You can each try on a bunch of clothes and have lunch at the food court. Just take cues from you little sis. What types of things is she into? Why not just let her know that she needs to think of activities for a certain day because that is going to be your special day with her?
I think it is really nice that you are making this effort!

This probably sounds old school, but I started bonding with my younger sister by taking her with you to local bookstores for some reading. It will show her know you are being a role model to her. Or, you can go to accessory stores looking for additions to your jewel collection. Try matching items!
It is a great way to bond with your younger sister

Little sisters always look up to their big sisters, let her try some of your make-up, spend a special day with her, take her to the Mall or a movie. Just spend a little time, she will always love you for it. You sound like a great sister.

Find out what her hobbies are. Are any of her interests ones that would interest you enough to enjoy doing along with her? This is a real great way to bond with someone or even to make a friend or romance an even better friend or romance!

My sister is 17 and I am 23.
Well my sister and I have a weekly movie night. I share with her the kind of stuff I did at her age. Give her advice and listen to her problems.

Kids that age love for you to spend time with them.
Keep in mind that anything that you do with them ( like activities) is great. They will have those memories with them forever. They may not keep those material things forever but making memories with them is a very powerful thing.
Keep that in mind when choosing something to do with them.
Good luck.
