I've light brown skin and I noticed that whenever I use sunblock my face color turned a little browner even though I stay in shade and not exposed directly to Sun.

Sun block just reduce the tanned you will get. Its actual usage is to reflects UVA n UVB rays so as not to damage your skin. If you are staying outdoor you can use sunblock of a higher SPF. But if most of the time you are staying indoor do not use high SPF sunblock as it will clog your pores. Just reapply when you need to go outdoor.

Just a simple reminder strong lights will tan a person too, so if you work indoor but there are strong lights, like those light for photo shooting and flim its still necessary to apply sunblock.

You don't have to be in direct sun in order to get a tan or sunburn. Also if you are looking darker after using sunblock it may be because moisturizer makes skin looker fresher and brings out true color. You can also look at the back of the sunblock bottle and see if it contains any coloring.

Sunblock simply increases the length of time you can be in the sun before you skin will tan/burn. It's different for everyone however depending on what your skin's natural tollerance is. If you are darker to begin with then your body is absorbing more of the sun's rays than a pure white person. However, a purre white person will burn faster.

Totally, sunblock rejects bad stuff from sun, like burns and UV rays, I apply it all time and still get a Ricky Martin tan at the beach. Free tip: Drink plenty of carrot juice one week before your beach vacation and you'll get quality tan.

Hi I hope all is well. We are suppose to use a stronger SPF for our face. Sunblock helps us balance how much sun or tan we want to get, but we will always get tanned. I hope everything turns out well.

yes, you still get tanned even though you use sunblock. sunblock just prevents you from burning.

Some have built in bronzers in them so it might...but also your face is the first thing to hit the sun...so it can be getting darker by that.
