Hello,
That was really a dumb thing to do. Not only are you upset about her transgression you now are obligated to replace and/or repair her hood. So this means you lost out twice. You need to decide if in fact you want to continue to associate with this individual. If not just give her a check for the repair of the hood and walk away. It you want to continue this relationship how about offering to take the car into the repairshop yourself and get it fixed then return it to her.

She was wrong for cheating on you and your reaction was wrong. At the very least, fly-off-the handle and even a bit immature.
Apologize...offer to pay for the damage and then figure out why you two are still together.
Sounds like a very problem filled relationship.

Anger management classes.. Yes, you should apologize, but only if you aren't going to do it again. No matter what she did or didn't do, only YOU can control your emotions and actions..
