Because they are raised to. Christians raise Christan kids. Atheists raise Atheist kids. People believe what they believe because they get it pounded into their heads since birth. Sure sometimes people swap religions later in life, but that's all they really are trading cards, little tags that tell who should hate you and who you should hate. Whether your in it for salvation or just to make others feel bad, religion is relitive you can believe whatever you have the capacity for.

The reason is very simple, christians want the security to believe that there is life after death, therefore they attend church regularly and believe something that is fabricated but to them is so real because they want that balance in their lives to know that when they die they will be put in a better place called heaven. Many christians are very hypocritical simply because they preach about being the temple of God yet many of them gossip and are extremely judgemental and do not live under Lords name.

I'm a God-fearing Christian, and I'm able to believe what I do because I have seen so much proof and felt the presence of the Lord in my life, and there is no way I could look over that.
