There is a guy that is the best looking person I have ever seen up close. I want to approach him. The only problem is sometimes he seems interested and others he does not. We have been e-mailing back and forth some. He sent me a message at the beginning of the week just to say hi and for me to have a great week. But then when he sees me at the gym in person he won't say anything. What do I do?

When I catch him looking at me, he just looks away. We are adults so this feels like a kiddie game to me.

He sounds like a shy person. Or he my just be trying to present himself that way.
Take things at face value, if he says Hi, then reply hello. If the conversation goes no further, then you put no more energy into it. Allow him to make the the moves at the same time, you show that you are not just waiting or every little signal from him. It does seem childish but do not spend so much energy over thinking what might not be going on.

lol - if I had a dollar for everytime I have to check and see if I am still in high school...it's pathetic! :-) The truth is, guys still act like they did in school....if they tease you, it usually means the like you, etc. If he txts/emails but doesn't talk in person it could be because it is easier for him to communicate digitally, so to speak. Just because he is drop-dead hot doesn't mean he is a player. Some of the best looking men have been the shyest, most bungling dufus's I have ever seen. Talk to him....if he snubs you, move on.
