I can only assume that the vast majority of you don't care if people use birth control.

In a way, yes, I would care. I care because not enough people that are sexually active are using any form of birth control. This includes condoms and oral contraceptives. If you are sexually active, I believe you either take the responsiblity of the fact that you can and will get pregnant unless you take the proper modes of preventions. If someone thinks they are adult enough to deal with the emotional nature of a sexual relationship, they should be able to deal with knowing enough to prevent diseases and pregnancies. There are too many people, kids, having children that have no money to support the child and no way to provide the life that the child deserves and needs.
The child is losing.

Generally, people who use BC are using it for selfish purposes; i.e., they want sex without the responsibilities and natural consequences that go with it; selfish people affect other people by their decisions, not just themselves. Using BC is not only immoral (because you're basically telling God that you know what is better for you than He does), It doesn't always prevent conception, but it does change the lining of the uterus, preventing a newly-conceived individual from implanting, causing a very early abortion.
I think BC is just one facet of the many factors that have caused the problems that America has experienced in the last 30 years.

I don't care in the least. Besides, I like that married couples can have intimate relations with one another these days, without worry. Constant, back-to-back body-destroying pregnancies ending in dreadful labor and then a screaming product soon after, over and over again just because someone thought their early-stage miscarriage was due to a birth control pill? Noooo thank you!

Xtian fundies are obsessed with a womans uterus so I am sure that many here do indeed care. I am not sure why they can't put their energy into caring for the less fortunate and making this world a better place for the living.

Why does it matter what other people think? By the way no I don't care. I was on it as a teenager. I only advise against the depo shot because it screwed me up.

You are right. Few christians disapprove the use of contraception, however devout catholics beleive that birth control is infact inhibiting life which can only be done by God.

Up to the individual.

I use it. I'd rather other people use it than not and then have abortions or have and neglect the baby.

~Edit-Thought I should mention, I'm not anti-abortion I just think pregnancy should be avoided if possilbe instead.

The ban on birth control is one teaching of my church with which I respectfully disagree. I do not care who uses birth control, and in fact, strongly wish that more people would.

Frankly, I don't think any of us can
have a valid "pro" or "con" to that
issue, until we can determine what
happens to all the beings who are
potentially possible, but don't get
here.

No, I don't have a problem with birth control. I would rather folks use that than have an abortion.
