Certain medical conditions have an increased risk factor based on gender. When someone changes gender through surgery and hormones, which risk category are they in - per or post surgery?

I need facts, not opinions. A source will be helpful.

Thanks!

Depends on the medical condition. I would be far less likely to get testicular cancer if I cut my nuts off, but that doesn't particularly mean anything. If the question is whether you gain the benefits of a sex's (not gender btw) genetic predisposition by switching to that sex, then no you don't. Your genetic code "thinks" you are still your original sex.

Your genetic code will remain the same, and testing your DNA will result in serious consequences in future.
